The Lighthouse bookcase was nominated for the Kind + Jugend Innovation Award 2026
We are delighted to share some important news: at our first Kind + Jugend fair in Cologne, the Lighthouse bookcase was nominated for the Kind + Jugend Innovation Award 2026 in the Furniture & Facility category.
This means a great deal to the MAMA brand — to be among the nominees alongside well-known international brands and to present our idea of developmental children's furniture at a European trade fair.
Congratulations to the Italian brand Chicco on winning this category!
At the special innovation stand, our chair and stool won the hearts of visitors and a sea of admiration.

We are so happy that our furniture was loved, first and foremost, by children!
They enjoyed our new products with great pleasure and did not want to leave the stand! It is always a joy, because it is for our little connoisseurs that we do all of this!
For us, this nomination is an inspiring recognition and an important step at the start of MAMA's long journey.

MAMA’s first international award
In 2019, MAMA’s first collection received a professional award at the international BATIMAT exhibition. For us, it confirmed that children’s furniture can combine thoughtful design, functionality and a philosophy of its own.
