Once, the MAMA brand designed a tiny nursery — only 4.6 m², for a five-year-old girl.
Why such a small size? I designed this room in Spain, in Barcelona, in an apartment in an old house built in 1903. In those days, rooms were made very small, and windows were tiny, due to the intense heat that begins in Catalonia at the end of June and lasts until the end of September. The old floor, the old ceiling - that's how they built here at the beginning of the century.
But the small size did not prevent us from creating a room for a real princess.
To keep the space from feeling cluttered, we installed elegant wrought-iron furniture from a Portuguese manufacturer. And so that the room didn't look like a cell with iron furniture, we chose a light milky color and decor with intricate swirls. We sewed beautiful cushions for the bed and chair, and added posters based on "Alice in Wonderland." Even the MDF wardrobe didn't look heavy — because it was white.

Everything came together. After all, a princess's room doesn't depend on its square footage.
I suggested colors that I think are suitable for a princess's room.
It is not advisable to use all these colors simultaneously in one interior; when composing a color scheme for a room, you should use the colors I suggested in the following way:
Marsala color combined with the last two. Such a combination is permissible in large spaces or in a nursery of average size (15-17 sq.m.). However, Marsala should then only constitute 20% of the total mass (cushions, bedspread, color accents on curtains, poster frames).
The second color, Sangria, in combination with the last two, milky and pale pink, is also best used in larger rooms. In medium-sized rooms, like Marsala, it should be used for 20%.
The third color, Cardinal, can be used in any space in combination with milky and pale pink, but not exceeding 10%.
The fourth, softer red, works well with the 5th color, coral, with the addition of the last two — milky and pale pink. However, the red and coral colors should be significantly less prominent than the last two colors.
The fifth, Coral, is beautiful in combination with the last two, keeping in mind that the last two colors should be more dominant than coral!
Optionally, you can add your own colors and shades to the proposed compositions.
What I've described above is a good basis for a color solution, and then you can use your taste and imagination.
